Wallace State Community College featured in an episode of The College Tour premiering today on Amazon Prime

HANCEVILLE, Ala. — Wallace State Community College will be featured in Season 16 of The College Tour, the nationally acclaimed television series available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The new season premieres Tuesday, June 16, 2026, with Wallace State highlighted in Episode 5. Viewers can watch the season here.

Since its launch in 2020, The College Tour has helped students and families explore higher education opportunities from anywhere, growing into a network of more than 250 partner institutions across 46 states. The series showcases authentic student stories, campus highlights, and the many ways colleges prepare students for meaningful careers and successful futures.

Wallace State’s featured episode spotlights five exceptional students representing the college’s Academic, Health Science, Technical, Fine and Performing Arts, and Athletics programs. Through their stories, viewers will experience the vibrant campus environment and supportive culture at Wallace State.

Featured students include:

  • Diana Boatright, Entrepreneurship
  • Tiger Flanigan, Construction Management
  • Jonathan Gray, Culinary Arts
  • Anna Wynn, Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • ReAnna Rusk, Fine and Performing Arts student studying Dental Hygiene

Each student shares a personal journey of discovery, finding their passion, developing new skills, and benefiting from the college’s resources and supportive faculty. Their experiences reflect Wallace State’s commitment to helping students set ambitious goals and achieve success both in the classroom and beyond.

In addition to student perspectives, the episode features a conversation between The College Tour Host and Producer Alex Boylan and Wallace State Community College President Dr. Vicki Karolewics. The segment highlights the college’s continued growth and success, including its recent designation as an Aspen Institute Rising Star.
